Aitor Gallardo Muñoz is a Spanish software and product engineer with around eight years of experience building web products across frontend and full-stack roles. Since 2024, he has independently designed and built XSaved, a local-first bookmark manager for X with a published Chrome extension and native iPhone and Mac apps in beta.

Large personal libraries become frustrating when every search depends on a network request. Using XSaved as a real-world example, this lightning talk explores moving the main read path into IndexedDB, separating synchronisation from search, and handling freshness, schema changes and interrupted operations.
